How to make cocoa cake?
Short answerMix 200 g flour, 50 g cocoa, 200 g sugar, 2 tsp baking powder, 2 eggs, 120 ml oil and 240 ml hot water; bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.

Hot water blooms the cocoa for deeper flavour. Dutch cocoa gives a darker crumb.

How to make a hot cocoa drink?
Short answerWhisk 2 tbsp cocoa and 2 tbsp sugar with a little hot milk into a paste, then add a mug of hot milk.

Add a pinch of salt and a drop of vanilla for café-style cocoa.
